Chaperones are vital because they ensure the safety and safeguarding of children at all times. Relying solely on the driver to supervise children and concentrate on the road and vehicle is a big ask and therefore a high risk. All BizzyBus chaperones are trained to:
- Maintain good behaviour and harmony between the children on the bus.
- Report any serious incidents to the school immediately.
- Our chaperones permit the driver to concentrate on their job.
- Ensure students are seated with seat-belts in place.
- Identify if a child behaves unusually.
- Assist in the event of breakdown or emergency.
- Ensure that children are handed over to the correct parent/guardian at the right stop.
